PROOF. with
Community Partners Campus
Community Partners Campus (CPC) is a nonprofit hub that co-locates human service organizations under one roof to better serve individuals and families in need.
Situation
Challenge
Provide ease of navigation for individuals visiting different providers throughout the campus, recognize donor support in a way that felt inspirational and integrated, and maintain brand cohesion across multiple shared spaces and service areas. Complex technical, aesthetic, and operational challenges included tight corridors with low ceilings, ADA compliance, and the need for durable, low-maintenance installations. Signage visibility was exceptionally challenging.
Solution
We incorporated CPC’s colors and logo elements subtly throughout signage, mural concepts, and wayfinding elements to build brand recognition without overwhelming the space. We:
- Created a modular signage system that allows for easy tenant updates as nonprofits move in or out
- Learned and applied new braille printing techniques to ensure full ADA compliance without sacrificing design integrity
- Designed a donor display engineered for function and emotion
- Projected angled standoff signs from the walls to improve visibility without overwhelming the space
- We tested multi-layer ink techniques to simulate dimension and glow to bring the stained-glass-inspired centerpiece to life, as well as integrated industrial hinges so the wall could be opened for cleaning without dismantling the feature
Results
- Welcoming design that supported both navigation and emotion.
- Every feature – whether directional, decorative, or donor-focused –reinforced CPC’s commitment to dignity, access, and community care.
- Modular design allows CPC to evolve over time, while maintaining brand consistency, ADA compliance, and ease of use for all.
